Racing through Rome
We had to delay our flight to Rome because of Clara's fever, but managed to spend a great weekend there with our friends. What an amazing city! Even though we were only there for a few days, we saw a lot, and felt fortunate to be looking around the city with a Roman classicist (Melissa).

Will's favourite part of the visit was the Pantheon, I liked standing in the square outside the Vatican, and Clara liked the Gelato. Ben enjoyed everything that involved his friend Iris. Ben noticed interesting things about Rome (he was very taken by motorcycles parked on the sidewalk), and it suddenly felt very doable to travel to exciting places with young children. They both love walking, eating and talking, and that's what travel is all about. We enjoyed hearing a new language and being in a different culture- even if only for a little while.
